IDC Unternehmensberatung GmbH, lead trainer and consultant on value chain programme design, secretary of the International ValueLinks Association.

He graduated from the University of Goettingen as an agricultural economist in 1987 and specialises as a consultant on trade and investment promotion since over 25 years. His main background is on organising trade fair participations, linking SME’s to international markets and project evaluation. He has particular sector experience in handicrafts, food and agriculture.

As a lead trainer for ValueLinks, he facilitated more than 85 one-week ValueLinks training workshops with more than 2,000 participants in 20 countries. In addition, he qualified more than 100 ValueLinks trainers as a master trainer in more than 20 ValueLinks ToT-workshops. He organises own ValueLinks trainings in Germany, Africa and Asia (www.idc-aachen.de).

He provides customized in-country trainings, VC project planning and coaching upon request. He facilitates multi-stakeholder VC workshops and prepares comprehensive VC studies as a basis for project implementation.
