GIZ, Amazon programme coordinator; focus: sustainable use of natural resources.

Thomas Jaeschke works as Coordinator in the Amazon Programme of the German Development Ser-vice (DED) in Brazil.

His main background is on rural economical development and sustainable use of natural resources, as well as on programme and project management (PM&E).

In value chain development, Thomas Jaeschke specialises on the promotion of ecological and fair-trade agricultural products and the facilitation of value chain processes in the frame of the tropical forest.

His regional experience covers the northeast and north of Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.
