Dr Rajeev Sharma has over 16 years of experience of participatory and cross-cutting rural development, strategic and operational planning, social policy formulation, administrative reforms, partnership development, designing agri-business proposals, Promoting Public Private Partnership under NRM, strengthening market linkages, institutional & organizational development, governance, civil society strengthening, capacity building, monitoring & evaluation.

Dr Sharma is well versed with the chemistry of working with government and bilateral projects and has served in key positions for projects supported by SDC – IC, DFID and GTZ. Experience of moderating and facilitating training seminars, sensitization programmes on participatory planning and implementation, partnership development, livelihoods analysis, valuelinks, micro enterprises promotions, Public Private Partnership (PPP), Monitoring Evaluation and Learning, documentation and reporting. Hands on experience in organising seminars, workshops, reviews, mission visits, exposure visits for stakeholders, recruitment and management of contracts.

At present Rajeev Sharma is working with GTZ as Technical Expert for projects in the area of capacity building for decentralized watershed management and Umbrella Project for NRM specialized in capacity development, agri business promotion, facilitating Public Private Partnership, and promotion of value chains along all modules of the Value Links methodology.

He holds a MBA and a degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science.
